Ok I realize it's been a very long time since I last updated my blog. Lets see what has been going on. On May 21st my grandma passed away. During June we had 2 weeks with out the kids, they visited Grandma S they went all over the STL area. While the kids were gone Bryan and I enjoyed the quite for the first few days. On Bryan's b-day we received the long anticipated Hot Tub. 
We were able to enjoy it on the day we received it. Hmm we went to pick up the kids on the 21st of June and went and say my grandpa who was not doing good and was in Hospice care. 
After visiting with him we noticed how good he looked. We informed my mom that he was looking and sounding good and in high spirits. After picking up the kids we left the dogs behind for 2 weeks so we could go on vacation to the Smoky Mountains. We had a week before we left for vacation and we enjoyed this little time before we packed up. The day had arrived for our vacation to the Smoky Mountains. We left and caravanedc with Mikey and Andi. We arrived on Sunday the 27th of June. We set up camp and enjoyed a long week of relaxing in the mountain air and watching the wildlife come out. We saw 2 bears while we were there. We had several deer come through our camp as well. On Wednesday July 1st I received a phone call from my dad stating that my grandpa passed away as well. 6 weeks after my Grandma.

We finished up the week with the annual 4th of July fireworks show. After a full day of Rain and wondering if the fireworks were ever going to ever happen we saw the show around 9:30 that evening. It was worth it. The guys did a wonderful job dispite the rain. We stayed an extra couple of days in Missouri since my grandpa's funeral was on Monday. The day was a very beautiful day for it. Then on Tuesday morning we went had a graveside service for my grandma since she didn't want any big deal for her. We arrived home around 4pm and we are so glad that we are finally home. Back to the grinding stone. So that is our life so far....

So sorry to hear about your grandparents. It's never easy loosing somebody you care about. Your family has been in my prayers. It was great to see everybody on the 4th. Tell your daughter thanks for playing with Soph, she really had a good time. Sorry we missed the fireworks, but everybody said they were wonderful! I hope you blog some more, I love hearing whats going on in the lives of my friends :v]
