Weekend Happenings

Well lets see what has the weekend hold for us.

Ah yes Zach has officially graduated to a semi Big Boy bed. He absolutely loves the fact that he can get in and out of his bed with out any help.

But the only problem that we had a concern on was the stairs. He has gone down them and up them on a regular basis. However, we haven't really let him do it with out us either at the bottom of the stairs or right beside him. So we were a little concerned since they are a very steep set.

So as you can see we fixed that problem. We didn't even have to go out and purchase a new gate. We are actually using the side of his crib that we took off. To keep it there where he can't pull it down we bought and put up little hooks.

We did this on Saturday afternoon so he had a couple of naps in his "big boy" bed before it was bed time. He has done very well in it. Yes he has fallen out of bed late at night but I put pillows under the opening so it's not a hard fall. As well as put him back in bed and put up a big stuffed animal after that so he wouldn't fall out any further at night. But we don't think it even wakes him up at all.

This proves that he was actually asleep in his new "digs".
