Well Zach had a couple of nights that he fell out of bed. So we picked him up and put him back in his bed and he slept there for the rest of the night. Since those nights he's hasn't fallen out of bed. He, however, has been getting out of bed right after we put him in his bed for night night. So we are in a constant battle with him on that. But we have another trick up our sleeves that he hasn't figured out just quite yet. We have been closing his bedroom door to keep him from getting in any other room. So he might get out of bed but whenever I check on him later in the evening he is always in his bed. So he plays until he's tired or he just stays in his bed.
Last week we meet our neighbor's (Doug on the left side looking at the street) girlfriend. She is a very nice person. Doug and Jamie are both right around my age, which is pretty awesome. The have only been together for a little while. Well last week they were on vacation and took a trip down to Arkansas to visit her family. They came back on Wednesday night and instead of unpacking the car they came directly over to our house and wanted to hang out. Luckily the kids were already in bed so we hung out with them til early evening / night. But, of course Bryan had to go to work like normal. Doug came back over after he unpacked the car and fixed dinner for Jamie and him. So after dinner was fixed Jamie and Doug went back home and I ended up going to bed fairly early. They did introduce me and Bryan into this very tasty wine. I have never found a wine that I liked. It's made from a local winery. It's called Olivers soft red wine. It's very awesome. But she went back home to further north. She plans on coming back this weekend I invited her over with Doug too.
Last weekend we did a bunch of yard work, mowed the yard, weed eated, cleaned up around the pool, decided to get rid of the grass in a corner of where the back patio and house meet. Not this has been designated as the firewood storage spot. We put the garden fabric down and then put pea gravel down too. So I think it looks really good no more haveing to weedeat that corner since the mower can't go there. We also bought a fountain / pond that fits perfectly in the front of the house. So for the past 2 days we have worked on digging a hole. The first foot was easy but the next 6 inches was a pain in the tail. The ground was extremely hard. This is how hard the ground is. Bryan was useing our shovel and he stuck it in the ground and then jumped on it, he went down looked down and the next thing I heard was not the okay you would think to hear but was more of oh snikeies. He had bent the "blade" of the shovel in half. So he started useing a chissel and sledge hammer to get clumps of clay / dirt. How annoying!!! But it's done and looks awesome. Now Bryan sayes it needs lights. We have an extension cord coming from inside the garage but will get the outlet on the outside of the house or feed it through the wall to a plug in the fountain. Well That's about it for now. I'll have pictures up in another entry.
