Team work always get's things done!!!
Well McCayla has started her school year off to a rough start already. I say this cuz the school has changed her teacher on her 3 times already and school only started last tuesday.
Here's the list of changes:
1) Registration (8-6-08) we saw a list of student's names under a Mrs Mitchell's name and of couse M was on that list. But, that same night we were given a paper stating that not all kids have registarted yet and that the teachers that were listed could possible change, ok no big deal.
2) Go to Mrs. Mitchell's (8-11-08) class room walked around looking for M's name on a desk and nowhere to be found is her name so we go to Mrs. Mitchell and ask her to see if M was on her class list and nope she wasn't so we find her on another teachers list instead (ok we knew this might happen no big surprise) Now we proceed to go to Mrs. Frey's class room great now we have the correct teacher and find her desk right away (first one in the door). So she starts school knowing where her classroom is.
3) A letter is sent home on Thursday stating that the school has hired anew 2nd grade teacher and that some of the students will now be going to her classroom this would create smaller classes for the teacher and more time for the teachers to work closer with the students great. They would find out who the students are the following day. So friday M brings home a new class list and of course she has the new teacher = Mrs. Bean. So I'm hoping that all is settled now and that the school year can proceed. But since it's a new school things could change again. I'm not mad or anything and am very glad that M can adjust so well.
So now that the teachers are settled and everything I can get to some fun news for everybody. M has told me that there is a boy that she thinks is "cute" his name is Chase and he actually lives right across the street from us. She tells me this on Wednesday. So Friday I come home and see that Chase is going to be in her class with her and kind of harrass her onthis and she just rolls her eyes at me. Then B sayes "tell mommy what has happened." So M tells me that Chase and Brian (another boy in the neighborhood who lives behind us) have gotten in a fight over her. They asked her "Which of us do you like better?" She never said. But she also brought home a bracelet (like the ones you make from string and used to be friendship bracelets) from another boy name Noah. But after having the bracelet for a day or so she gave it back to him. Stating that she doesn't like that boy that way.
Oh Boy has this school year started. Has it started already for the boys??? I hope not. But it's kind of cute asking her about them and she just rolls her eyes and blushes. Oh yeah one more thing Noah came over on Saturday asking if M could come over and play (Noah lives right up the street by the bus stop). So Bryan and I were doing the famous parent thing, you know what it is. Mind you we just got home and we were both getting out of the car. She (M) came up to me and asked if she could go play with him, I said I don't know ask your father, Then she goes to the other side of the car and as Bryan. He turns looks at her and sayes go ask your mother. So we did that a couple of times. Then We turned and looked at Noah and Bryan (mind you that he has been standing there this whole time listening to us) asked him what time do you plan on having her home? Noah looks ans sayes in a very timid voice "what ever time she wants to come home." Then B sayes okay home by dinner, I added "in 10 minutes." just kidding of course. Then B sayes but if your going to feed her then you'll need to call first. So it was kind of like how the first date would be i guess. It was very humorous to us as the parents and you could hear M telling Noah as they ran away that They (us, the parents) have been acting crazy all day. And it was true we were acting a little nutty that day. But that was the jist of our weekend. Since you have gotten this far I'll bid you good night, day, afternoon, morning what ever time you are reading this. Tootles

And so it begins!
How silly
Okay, that's a little terrifying, considering Cameron's a year out.
