Well I first would like to say happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there!!!
You are all wondering why the title of this entry is what it is. Well my mothers day started off great. Woke up went to church with the kids. Bryan picked us up on time then went and spent some time with my family dispite with awful weather we had it was good. Mike and Bryan played video games and had the kids watching them too. So I had some good quality time with my mom and dad. We even left early enough to get home so B could take a nap before heading to work. We get home and the power is out so the garage door wouldn't open, okay no big deal we have the house key with us so I go and unlock the front door or at least I try too. The normal handle lock unlocked without a problem, then I try the deadbolt. The Key wouldn't go in all the way. So B try's it and he couldn't get it in so he tries to pound it in and that still didn't work. So we were officially locked out of our house. UGH! So we decided to just putts around Wal-Mart by our house but unfortunately it was way to close. They were affected by the power outage as well. While sitting in the parking lot talking to our parents and trying to figure out what to do at the same time a little voice from the back of the car speaks very quitely stating that there will be something stuck in the lock. We both look at each other and then at her. She first started off stating that a "friend" tried using a stick to unlock the door but then she eventually fessed up and stated that she stuck the stick in the lock to unlock the door. As you can tell we finally got back into the house after Wal-Mart parking lot we went to Menards (it beat sitting in an emptying parking Lot). putts around there for a short time then we went back home hoping that the power was on. It wasn't so B went around the back to hopefully get in through the sliding glass door no such luck, we have a jimmy to keep the dogs in the house. (another story for those of you that don't know) . But by the time that B came back to the front of the house the power was on so I hit that Garage door opener in the car faster then you could say "power is on" We were able to be home again. B took the lock out and fixed it (took the stick piece out of it.) So we have a lock back and the house is backt o being ours again.!!!
